We were contacted by an assembly operations department for a manufacturer that had been challenged by upper management to convert work instructions into a digital format. We got started right away on gathering requirements, scope of work, and an estimation on project cost. Since the department was light assembly, we setup tablets with a web based tool that displayed work instructions to the end user. We also implemented an order/inventory system that communicated to the facilities Enterprise systems (ERP and inventory control).
